Dr. Oluebube A. Chukwu, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Abia State on Due Process and Head, Abia State Due Process and Public Procurement Bureau, received the Mayor of Umunneochi Local Government Area, Sunday Afurobi, on a courtesy visit at his office in Government House, Umuahia, on Tuesday, 26th November 2024.

During the visit, Mayor Afurobi outlined key developmental initiatives aimed at transforming Umunneochi. He emphasised the importance of collaboration among stakeholders and dignitaries of the local government to ensure the successful realisation of these projects.

The Mayor highlighted the potential for these initiatives to foster infrastructural development, economic empowerment, and strategic partnerships, all geared towards improving the lives of residents in Umunneochi. Accompanied by Chief Ike Opigwe, he reiterated his unwavering commitment to addressing critical infrastructure needs in the area.
