On Friday, January 3, 2025, the quiet community of Umuobuele, Ozurji Umuomeze Amuda, in Isuochi, Umunneochi LGA, Abia State, witnessed an outpouring of love and respect as family, friends, and well-wishers gathered to bid a heartfelt farewell to Late Diamond Mother Patience Nwakaego Anya (née Uwaezuoke), aged 84.
Dr. Oluebube A. Chukwu, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Due Process and the Head of the Abia State Due Process and Public Procurement Bureau, joined the Anya family to pay his final respects at the funeral, which took place at Mazi Jonathan Anya’s Compound.
In his tribute, Dr. Chukwu described the late Diamond Mother as a woman of exceptional grace and unwavering faith, whose life of service and dedication to her family and community left an indelible mark. He urged the family to find solace in the impactful life she led.
