The quiet town of Igbere, Bende Local Government Area, was filled with a solemn atmosphere on December 28, 2024, as dignitaries, family members, and friends gathered for the funeral service of the late Ezinne Helen Eme Ogwo (née Igbokwe), who passed away at the age of 81.

The service, held at Igbere Secondary School, was a profound moment of reflection and tribute to a life well-lived. Among the notable attendees was the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Due Process and Head of the Abia State Public Procurement Bureau, High Chief Dr. Oluebube A.
