The final rites for the late Nneoma Roseline O. Tasie, mother of Rt. Rev. I. K. Tasie, Methodist Bishop of Nneochi Diocese, were held on 15/2/2025 with solemnity and reverence at Trinity Methodist Church Nigeria, Umuegwu, Diocese of Umuahia East. The ceremony drew dignitaries, clergy, and community members who came to honour her life and legacy.
Dr. Oluebube A. Chukwu, a key figure in Abia State's development, was represented at the event by his Executive Assistant, Ezeoma Favour Adaoma. His presence, through his aide, expressed his deep respect for the Tasie family and the Methodist community.
The burial service, conducted by senior clergy of the Methodist Church, featured hymns, prayers, and eulogies reflecting on Nneoma Roseline’s contributions to her family, faith, and society. Speakers highlighted her devotion to God and her role in nurturing generations with strong moral values.

Ezeoma Favour Adaoma, speaking on behalf of Dr. Oluebube A. She emphasized Dr. Chukwu’s unwavering support for the church and its leaders, reiterating his commitment to community development.

As the service concluded, her remains were laid to rest amid prayers and solemn hymns. Family members, friends, and well-wishers took turns paying their last respects, reflecting on her enduring influence.
