Members of Due Process and Public Procurement, Compliance and Monitoring Team, have been inaugurated, with Mr Ejieke Chinomso, as Chairman, Chief Sunday Agoha as Secretary, while Mr Okwara Chiukpai, Mr Sunday Azubuike and Mr Francis Onwubuariri are members.

Addressing the Five Man Compliance Monitoring Committee recently in his office at the Government House, Umuahia, the Head, Due Process and Public Procurement, Dr Oluebube Chukwu, who said that constituting the team became very imperative, having gotten all the necessary approvals and directives from the Governor, Dr Alex Otti, who insisted that no cutting corners in all government Procurement activities as his administration is committed to zero tolerance to sharp practices, while transparency and probity in governance remain the watch word of his administration.

Dr Chukwu who highlighted that the operations of the Team is to visit all Procurement Units in the Ministries, Departments, and Agencies of government in the State to collect data on their activities for official use of the Bureau and others.

The Due Process Boss noted that relevant government Ministries and Agencies have been officially communicated about the team's visit and urged Heads of the MDAs to cooperate with the Team to make their report comprehensive.

He encouraged the committee members to be diligent and passionate with the assignment considering its importance to the state, assuring them of logistics support in order to enable them deliver in record time, and directed them to be sending weekly interim reports every Friday, until they round up on the state assignment.

Responding the Chairman Compliance and Monitoring Committee, Mr Ejike Chinomso, and the Head Procurement Department, Mr Chiukpai Okwara, expressed their determination to work in the Team credibility and appreciated the Head Due Process and Public Procurement, Dr Oluebube Chukwu, for the confidence reposed in them and promised to justify the confidence.

They asserted that necessary tools for seamless and effective data collection have been generated will be deposited in all MDAs they are visiting for easy assessment and accurate data.
