“Be Bullish” -Ottis’ Special Assistant Spurs Students

In a thrilling display of inspiration and guidance, Dr. Oluebube A. Chukwu, a senior special assistant to the governor of Abia state on due process, left students at the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations- Students Association (NIPR-SA), UNN, in awe as he spoke as the grand patron of the organisation.
The event, which took place on Saturday, August 12th, 2023, at the University of Nigeria Nsukka campus (UNN) saw a great outturn of students.

Addressing the students, Dr. Chukwu, an accomplished PR professional with a PhD and MNIPR credentials, recounted his journey in the field of Public Relations, emphasizing his humble beginnings. He motivated the students to persevere despite challenges, sharing that rejection was inevitable but should never deter their spirit. “Practicing what you’ve learned is what sets you apart,” he stressed, urging them to stay determined and maintain a strategic roadmap for their careers.

The attendees expressed their joy and gratitude for the opportunity to learn from a seasoned expert in the field. Dr. Chukwu applauded the accomplishments of NIPR-SA under the leadership of its president, and he encouraged the students to continue pushing boundaries. He engaged with the students’ questions, providing insightful answers that shed light on the practical aspects of the PR profession.
The event culminated with a closing remark from Miss Emmanuel Blessing, the president of NIPR-SA as she delivered a heartfelt closing remark, expressing gratitude to Dr. Chukwu for his invaluable contribution and inspiring words.
