On Friday, December 27, 2024, history was made at the Mbala Central School Field in Umunneochi Local Government Area, Abia State, as High Chief Dr. Oluebube Chukwu was conferred with the esteemed chieftaincy title of Okpata Obaara Oha 1 of Mbezi. This honor was bestowed upon him by His Royal Highness, Eze Pharm. Nduchekwa C. Ike, Charam II of Mbezi Autonomous Community, in recognition of High Chief Chukwu’s unwavering contributions to societal development and his commitment to uplifting his community.

The coronation ceremony, tagged Charam 11 Coronation 2024, attracted dignitaries, traditional rulers, family, and well-wishers who gathered to celebrate a man whose leadership and philanthropy have left an indelible mark on the lives of many.

High Chief Chukwu is a dedicated advocate for virtuous leadership and a driving force behind impactful initiatives that aim to foster community development and improve the quality of life for the less privileged. As the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Abia State on Due Process and Head of the Abia State Due Process and Public Procurement Bureau, his professional excellence and commitment to public service are widely acknowledged.

The newly conferred title, Okpata Obaara Oha 1 of Mbezi (The Wealth that Spreads to the People), reflects High Chief Chukwu’s tireless efforts to create opportunities and positively impact the lives of those around him.
