Groundbreaking Ceremony Of Federal Polytechnic, Ngodo- Isuochi Marks New Era For Education In Abia State

Thursday, January 30 2025, Dr. Oluebube A. Chukwu, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Due Process, attended the groundbreaking ceremony of Federal Polytechnic Ngodo-Isuochi and the commissioning of a 500KVA transformer donated by the Abia State Government at the temporary site of the polytechnic. The event was a significant milestone in Abia State's educational advancement.

His Excellency, Dr. Alex Otti, OFR, the Executive Governor of Abia State, was represented by Engr. Ikechukwu Monday, Commissioner for Power and Public Utilities, Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Hon. Nkeiruka Onyejeocha, Commissioner for Lands and Housing, Chaka Chukwumerije, the rector, Engr. Dr. P. D. Ndubuisi, chairman of the governing council, Alh. Sulaimon, staff and students of Federal Polytechnic Ngodo-Isuochi were all in attendance at the event.

The groundbreaking ceremony brought together community leaders, including the Executive Chairman of Umunneochi LGA, Chief Sunday Afurobi, and traditional rulers of the LGA and other top appointees of the Abia State Government. All were united in their support for the state's ongoing transformation and progress under the current administration.

As Dr. Chukwu, who plays a key role in promoting transparency and accountability in Abia State's government joined other dignitaries at the ceremony, it was clear that this new institution will be a beacon of hope for the community, providing opportunities for skill acquisition and career development.
