On Friday, September 6th 2024, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Abia State on Due Process and Head of the Due Process & Public Procurement Bureau, High Chief Oluebube A. Chukwu, Ph.D., was at the 2024 Conference of Umunneochi Women which held at Peace Comprehensive College Amuda Isuochi.
Upon his arrival, Umunneochi women in their various groups celebrated and welcomed, Dr. Chukwu, who they described in their native songs and chants as a thoughtful and illustrious son of the soil with a service-oriented mindset. To Umunneochi Women, Dr. Chukwu's philanthropic gestures and humanitarian service remain topnotch.
High Chief OA. Chukwu, Ph.D., arrived in company of the Member Representing Umunneochi State Constituency at the Abia State House of Assembly, Hon. Mathias Umeh, where they were received by the Mayor of the Council, Labour Party stalwarts, other government functionaries and warmly welcomed by Umunneochi Women eminently led by Miracle Ladies of Oluebube A. Chukwu, an association of women partners of the Oluebube A. Chukwu Foundation, among other women groups.
The SSA to the Governor of Abia State on Due Process is a strong supporter and promoter of the rights of women as they discharge vital roles in nation building. At the conference, he rededicated his commitment to unwaveringly working with Umunneochi women to attain better levels in their businesses through the Oluebube A. Chukwu Foundation even as he urged them to remain steadfast in their support of the administration of H.E. Dr. Alex C. Otti, OFR, whose government is focused on improving the lot of Abians especially the womenfolk.
High points of the event entailed the arrival of the Special Guest of Honour, the Wife of the Executive Governor of Abia State, Mrs. Priscilla Chidinma Otti, March Past by different women groups, cutting the Annual Conference cake, presentation of various gift items to committed Party Faithful, distribution of bags of rice and other food items to widows and indigent women in the Local Government Area.
