Dr. Oluebube A. Chukwu, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Abia State on Due Process and Head, Abia State Due Process and Public Procurement Bureau, was present alongside the Secretary to the Abia State Government, Professor Ken Kalu, and the Honourable Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education of Abia State, Elder Goodluck Ubochi, at Lux Mundi University’s historic maiden matriculation ceremony and Chancellor’s investiture on November 22, 2024 at Umuahia.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Chukwu urged the newly matriculated students to pursue academic excellence and embrace practical learning to address the nation’s pressing challenges. “Our society urgently needs thinkers and result-oriented individuals to tackle poverty and other socio-economic issues,” he stated, underscoring the critical role of education in national development.
He also highlighted the Alex Otti-led administration’s commitment to advancing education in Abia State, particularly through innovative policies that incorporate digital technology to transform learning.
Through the Oluebube A. Chukwu Foundation (OACF), Dr. Chukwu has consistently demonstrated his passion for education, particularly in underserved rural communities, thus reaffirming his dedication to contributing to equipping the next generation with the tools needed for success.
